Job Description
Bright Ride Auto Detailing Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Cleaning Supervisor – Automotive Detailing to supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our automotive detailing and cleaning staff in Vernon, BC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of vehicle cleaning, detailing quality, workplace safety and productivity.
Main Duties
Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of automotive detailing and cleaning employees.
Assign daily vehicle cleaning and detailing tasks to employees.
Monitor employees' work and ensure that vehicles meet company quality standards.
Train employees in vehicle cleaning, detailing procedures, equipment use and workplace safety.
Coordinate workflow to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Inspect completed vehicles and arrange corrective work when necessary.
Monitor the proper use, storage and maintenance of cleaning products, tools and equipment.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and advise management when supplies need to be ordered.
Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.
Assist with automotive cleaning and detailing duties when required.
Address quality-control issues and customer-related service concerns.
Prepare and maintain employee work schedules.
Communicate daily work priorities and instructions to detailing staff.
Report staffing, operational and supply requirements to management.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
Perform other related supervisory duties as required.
Employment Requirements
Completion of secondary school education is mandatory.
Minimum 1 year of previous experience in automotive detailing, vehicle cleaning, car washing, or a related cleaning occupation is mandatory.
Previous supervisory or lead-hand experience is an asset.
Ability to supervise, coordinate, train and assign work to detailing employees.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Conditions
Full-time, permanent position.
30–40 hours per week.
$38.40 per hour.
Work location: Vernon, British Columbia.
The position requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive cleaning and detailing activities.
The employee may be required to work with cleaning products, water, detailing equipment and vehicles.
