Ambria Vacations is looking for a Full-Time Cleaning Service Manager (NOC 60040)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $36.60/hour.
Job Description:
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate housekeeping and cleaning operations across multiple cottage properties with Ambria Vacations
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate cleaning staff and team leads.
• Develop and maintain staffing plans to ensure adequate coverage across all properties.
• Inspect properties and monitor service quality to ensure compliance with company, health, and safety standards.
• Establish and implement operational policies, procedures, service standards, and quality-control programs.
• Manage departmental budgets, labour costs, cleaning equipment, supplies, and inventory.
• Respond to guest, owner, and management inquiries, complaints, and service issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and operational requirements with property management and external contractors.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor property cleanliness, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties as needed to maintain operational efficiency and service quality.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a cleaner
• Must have some experience, or be comfortable supervising a cleaning crew
• Resort environment experience is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
