• Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
• Work experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a commercial/industrial ventilation and/or duct systems cleaner or as a commercial/industrial ventilation/duct systems cleaning services supervisor or manager is required.
Job Duties:
• Plan, coordinate, oversee, and evaluate daily operations related to commercial and industrial ventilation system cleaning (kitchen exhaust, kitchen hotline, complete kitchen, laundry exhaust, linen chute, commercial duct, washroom exhaust and coil cleaning) and HVAC filter maintenance services across assigned client sites.
• Develop, implement, and maintain company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations, client requirements, and company best practices.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor operational budgets, equipment usage, supplies, and inventory related to duct cleaning and filter maintenance activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to service inquiries, addressing concerns or complaints, and ensuring timely and effective resolution to maintain long-term client relationships.
• Oversee and manage service agreements and contracts, including coordination with marketing or advertising partners to support business development and client retention strategies.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise cleaning and maintenance personnel, ensuring staff are properly trained in company procedures, health and safety protocols, and quality control standards.
• May perform other duties as required by the business.
Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
• Be aware of NFPA 96 - Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations
