Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job

New Again Cleaning and Maintenance is seeking a Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor (TEER 62024) for Greater Vancouver Area. It is a full-time, permanent position, 30-40 hours/week, $29.68/hour. Vacation 4%. Sorry, we do not offer any benefits. Start date as soon as possible.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be expected to perform the following duties:
• Supervise and coordinate the work
• Inspect job sites to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations
• Hire and train staff
• Prepare work schedule and coordinate activities with those of other departments
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
• May perform certain cleaning duties.

Requirements:
• Must have completed high school.
• Must have some at least 1 year of related work experience.
• Must have excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize.
• Must be able to handle stress and work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional in difficult situations.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Must be able to lead the team of minimum of 2 people.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Must be able to provide at least one professional reference upon request.
