Job Description:
Prestigious law firm seeks a Class Actions focused Associate Attorney to join its expanding Seattle team.
Candidate Must have the following: Minimum 3 years of Class Action defense experience in consumer matters, including false advertising, product defect, breach of warranty, violation of consumer protection laws (required) ; Experience within a large law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent) ; Engagement with briefing class certification and/or summary judgment (required) ; Substantial experience Conducting depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews ; Highly adept at Managing e-discovery.
Stellar academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades desired); Strong research, verbal & written communication skills, and analytic skills required ; Washington State Bar.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Representing a diverse clientele across industries including consumer products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, emerging technologies, and financial services.
-Preparing and arguing motions related to class certification and/or summary judgment.
-Supporting defense strategies in consumer class actions involving allegations of false advertising, product defect, breach of warranty, and violations of consumer protection statutes.
-Managing all aspects of e-discovery.
-Drafting briefs, legal correspondence, and responses to written discovery requests.
-Conducting depositions, presenting oral arguments, and interviewing expert witnesses.
