We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, tankers, and roll-off trucks, to deliver freight efficiently and on time. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent route planning skills and to be able to do an ON THE ROAD position.
Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles , specifically 2018 Freightliner Cascadia
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight while adhering to all safety protocols.
Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic laws.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service.
Route: Mira Loma, CA to Vacaville, CA
Pay Rate: $600 to $700 per load ( 1 load a day)
Truck Type: 2018 Freightliner Cascadia
Load Type: Empty cans
Availability: ON THE ROAD / Driver must be available 24/7 depending on load schedule
