Responsibilities
Tasks:
- Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings for municipal engineering and land development servicing projects.
- Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations.
- Prepare construction specifications, costs and materials estimates.
- Prepare engineering designs and drawings.
- Prepare project schedules: Project Monitoring & Record keeping, maintaining detailed records of project progress, contractor communications, testing results and CCC & FAC submissions.
- Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations and testing of construction materials.
- Computer-aided design (CAD)
- Liaison with the contractors, client and municipal officials.
Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge:
- AutoCAD
- MS Excel
- MS Word
