Responsibilities and tasks
As a Civil engineering technologist with Modular Precast Systems Inc., you will:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine
dimensions, layouts, and material requirements for precast construction projects.
- Assist in developing engineering specifications and technical drawings to support project
planning, manufacturing, and site installation activities.
- Prepare construction specifications, material take-offs, and cost estimates for ongoing
projects.
- Prepare and revise engineering designs and CAD drawings while ensuring compliance
with project requirements and applicable building codes.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules and coordinate with managers, supervisors, and
production teams to support timely project completion.
- Coordinate technical documentation, drawing revisions, and site information between
engineering and construction teams.
- Ensure engineering drawings and specifications meet quality, safety, and project
standards.
Requirements
- Language: English.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry, modular
construction, precast systems, or related construction environments
- Equipment and machinery experience: Steel-toed safety boots and basic hand tools.
