Civil Engineer II Job

A Civil Engineer II is needed in LaGrange, Georgia.

• Conduct pre-contract analysis using prescribed methods requiring application of standard civil engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for each client.
• Prepare and study maps, drawings, blueprints, and other topographical or geologic data for as-sessment of the site.
• Identify and comprehend clients’ deliverables and expectations and perform site surveys to de-termine technical feasibility.
• Interpret traffic patterns or environmental conditions of the site to identify the impact and risks connected to the project.
• Assess the estimated cost and quantities of materials and equipment to be purchased.
• Direct construction and operations at project site, and provide engineering support during all phases of project including planning, designing, permitting and construction administration.
• Keep track of budgets and resources for each process and coordinate to ensure on-time deliv-eries of materials and equipment purchased.
• Communicate with clients, sub consultants, subcontractors, architects, and other administra-tive staff in both technical and non-technical terms to prevent possible risks or resolve compli-cations as required.

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Engineering.
