Civil Engineer Job

A Civil Engineer is needed in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Perform civil engineering analysis, planning, and design for commercial and industrial construction projects, including site development, grading, drainage, utility systems, and related infrastructure in accordance with applicable engineering principles, building codes, and client specifications. Prepare, review, and revise engineering calculations, technical drawings, design reports, specifications, and construction documents using engineering software to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements. Conduct engineering evaluations of existing site conditions, analyze geotechnical, topographic, and utility information, and develop practical engineering solutions to support construction and infrastructure improvements. Coordinate civil engineering designs with architects, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure integrated project execution. Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, requests for information, and design modifications, and provide engineering recommendations to ensure compliance with design specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements. Perform field inspections and engineering observations during construction to verify conformance with approved plans, identify technical issues, recommend corrective actions, and prepare engineering reports documenting project progress and design compliance.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Engineering.
