City P&D LTL Dispatcher Job

We are hiring for a leading company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for an City P&D LTL Dispatcher in Mississauga, ON

Start Date: Immediately
Shift: 12 pm start
(Must have some flexibility to work days)
Location: Dixie Rd. & Matheson Rd.
Rate: $65,000 annually

Responsibilities:

- Day-to-day communications via phone and/or handheld device, with fleet of drivers
- Manage divers with multiple stops -- pickups and deliveries
- Effectively communicate load instructions and ensure they are carried out
- Efficiently delegate loads to maximize time and load factor
- Manage service concerns as required
- Coordinate maintenance of fleet vehicles
- Assist with generating reports and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in GTA city P&D LTL necessary
- Good computer skills with accuracy in data entry and attention to detail
- Excellent time management with high ability to multitask
- Superior customer service and communication skills
- Dependable to work independently with no supervision
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritized in a fast paced environment
- 'Can-Do' attitude with a passion to drive results
- Clean criminal background required
