Job Description:
Aqua Paws Hydrotherapy is a leading provider of specialized hydrotherapy and chiropractic services for animals. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting with the delivery of therapeutic care to pets, including dogs, who are recovering from surgery or injury.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with chiropractic assessments and treatments, under the supervision of a licensed chiropractor.
• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for therapy sessions.
• Provide post-treatment care and guidance to pet owners.
• Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Manage scheduling, patient follow-up, and office organization.
• Support administrative tasks as required, including billing and inventory management.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school and several months of on-the-job training are usually required for assisting occupations
• Previous experience working in a chiropractic or veterinary environment is an asset.
• Knowledge of animal anatomy and basic therapeutic techniques is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both pets and pet owners in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move small to medium-sized animals safely.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks.
