Children Caregiver Job

Job Location: St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

Employment Type:Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $18.00 per hour Overtime paid according to provincial labour standards

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe home environment
• Pick up children from school and transport them to and from extracurricular activities
• Supervise and assist with homework and daily learning activities
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the children
• Assist with children’s personal hygiene, including bathing and bedtime routines
• Maintain a clean and organized environment related to childcare activities
• Ensure children’s emotional well-being and daily routines are followed

1. Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
2. Valid driver’s licence and ability to safely drive children
3. Experience caring for children
4. Patient, dependable, and able to work
independently
5. Vulnerable Sector Check or Criminal record check
