Healthy Kids Programs is seeking Childcare Teachers for our Summer Camp to guide campers through a summer filled with fun, friendship, and unforgettable adventures. This is your chance to lead, inspire, and create lifelong memories for children while being part of a supportive, award-winning team.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
LOCATION: Island Village Elementary School in Kissimmee, FL
PAY: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
SUMMER HOURS: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 5:00pm

Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 5–13) enrolled in program on the days and during the hours you work. Employer contributions cover the cost of care, so you can focus on your job while your child participates in a safe, structured, and engaging program, all without needing to arrange outside care.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and lead daily camp activities, games, hands-on projects, and special events, including arts & crafts and themed activities
Create a positive, inclusive environment where campers feel supported, encouraged, and engaged
Ensure camper safety and follow all state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school policies
Communicate daily with families using the Playground App and provide support during parent orientations
Support community outreach to promote the program and engage prospective families
Lead by example with enthusiasm, positivity, and a can-do attitude

Requirements
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.
