Child Life Specialist Job

The Child Life Specialist is responsible for providing essential life experiences, family support & education to patients and families in the Emergency Department. The Child Life Specialist will collaborate with other health care providers, as well as the community, to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the health care experience.

*** This position will be scheduled to work on Friday evenings ***

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Child Life, Child Development or related field is required
• Completion of Child Life internship required
• Certified Child Life Specialist must be obtained within one year of hire
• CPR - BLS is required within 60 days of hire
