Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $21.00 per hour; Gross wages are subject to applicable federal and provincial taxes and statutory deductions.
Other Benefits: Travel expenses and relocation costs will be covered by the employer

Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation per year

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week; Overtime pay (X1.5) after 44 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive supervision and nurturing care for the child in the employer’s home.
• Prepare and feed formula or expressed breast milk, and assist with burping after feedings.
• Change diapers, bathe, dress, and maintain proper hygiene for the child.
• Monitor the baby’s sleep schedule and assist in establishing healthy feeding and sleeping routines.
• Sterilize bottles, pacifiers, and feeding equipment, and maintain cleanliness of baby items.
• Soothe, comfort, and engage the child through gentle interaction and age-appropriate stimulation.
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to infant care, including washing baby clothes and bedding.
• Maintain daily notes regarding feeding times, diaper changes, sleep patterns, and overall well-being of the child.

Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
• Formal training in child care or a related field is considered an asset
