Position: Child Caregiver – Private Home

We are looking for a caring and responsible Childcare Provider who can support children in a safe, positive, and engaging environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to child well-being, provide attentive supervision, and plan age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and healthy emotional and social development. The role requires patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and daily needs.

Job duties:
• Supervise and care for a 10-year-old child throughout the day.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring healthy and balanced nutrition.
• Support the child’s emotional well-being and social development.
• Plan and engage the child in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, including games, reading, crafts, and outings.
• Walk the child to and from school, appointments, and activities, as required.
• Maintain a safe and organized environment, following health and safety standards.
• Assist with homework and school-related tasks as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child’s care.

Qualifications and requirements:
• Minimum High school completion
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting is highly preferred.
• Household management preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement engaging and educational activities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to hygiene and safety.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Reliable, responsible, and patient with a passion for working with children.

Job Details:
• Job Type: Full-time, permanent
• Language of Work: English
• Wage: $20 per hour
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Schedule: 6 h per day / Monday to Friday
• Work Location: In-person, at the employer’s private home
