Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide care and supervision for the children
• Take responsibility of the household in the parents’ absence
• Prepare children’s meals as requested and agreed by the parents
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Instruct children in personal hygiene
• Provide a caring, safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Tend to emotional well-being of children and support social development
• Provide age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
• Take children to and from school and appointments
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children if requested

Requirements:
• 1 to 7 months of experience
• Completion of secondary school
• Must be reliable and able to care for school age children with kindness and patience
• Demonstrate good judgement and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Be available to work early morning, morning, day and evening

Work conditions:
• Physically demanding
• Repetitive tasks
