Work at Employer's home, taking care of two school age (6 - 12 years) children for 30 to 40 hours per week @ $19.00 / hr.
Job Duties
* Supervise and care for two school-aged children after school and on PD/holiday days; ensure safety and positive behaviour.
* Pick up from school; transport to/from sports, arts, and appointments; coordinate with coaches/instructors.
* Maintain routine: snack, homework/study time, activity prep, hygiene, and bedtime readiness per parents’ guidelines.
* Prepare and serve nutritious after-school snacks and simple dinners; pack/refresh lunches as needed.
* Organize age-appropriate activities (reading, games, active play/skill practice) during free time and breaks.
* Tend to emotional well-being; apply positive discipline consistent with family rules; support sibling cooperation.
* Keep a safe, tidy environment; perform light child-related housekeeping (study/play areas, dishes, gear, laundry).
* Track schedules on a shared calendar; ensure required equipment/uniforms/forms are ready; provide brief daily updates to parents.
