Looking for Child caregiver – private home position
Employer: Jeesun Shin
Job Position: Child Caregiver - Private home, Full time, Permanent
Job Location: Private home, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3C 6B8
Wage Rate and working hours: $20.00 per hour and 30 hours per week
Main Duties
- Full responsibility for the household when parents are away
- Care for children in a safe home environment
- Follow parents' guidelines for disciplining children
- Plan and engage the child in fun and educational activities
- Accompany the child to indoor and outdoor activities when required
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks and perform light housekeeping
- Drop off and pick up children from school and activities
Qualifications:
- 6 month experience in child care OR Completion of a training program in child care
- High school completion or higher
- Able to communicate in English
- First Aid Certificate
- Able to drive children to and from activities
