Child Caregiver - Private Home Job

We are in need of one (1) Child care provider who can look after our child. We are located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Wages:
$20.00 per hour for 30 to 44 hours per week

Terms of Employment:
Permanent; Full Time

Day; weekend; overtime available; flexible hours

Job Duties:
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and general cleaning tasks
• Accompany the family on trips and assist with child supervision and household duties
• Wash, iron, and press clothing, and assist with feeding the child
• Discipline the child according to the parents’ preferred methods
• Teach and reinforce personal hygiene and support the child’s social development
• Maintain records of the child’s daily activities and health information
• Ensure a safe and healthy home environment at all times
• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals
• Assist in establishing routines, including preparing the child for rest periods
• Provide attentive supervision and care for the child
• Support the child’s emotional well-being
• Assist the child with homework and school-related activities
