Job Description:
Michael Espiritu is seeking a child caregiver to care for 3-year-old twin toddlers in our residence. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment while supporting the children’s emotional, social, and early learning development. The position is based in the employer’s home. No live-in requirement.
Terms of employment:

• Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and provide attentive care for toddler twins;
• Bathe, dress, and feed the children;
• Prepare and serve healthy nutritious meals and snacks, encourage independence with meals;
• Assist with potty training and support the development of personal hygiene routines;
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment;
• Support emotional well-being and social development through consistent guidance and positive interaction;
• Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and outings to promote learning and development;
• Assist with early learning and educational activities, including reading, crafts, and play-based learning;
• Guide toddlers in developing personal hygiene habits and positive social skills, while implementing discipline strategies consistent with the parents’ preferences;
• Keep records of daily activities, health information, and developmental milestones;
• Take children to appointments or activities, as needed;
• May perform light housekeeping related to child care, such as cleaning up after meals or playtime.
Qualifications
• Language Requirement: English
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
• Ability to maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
• Patient, reliable, and caring in approach.
• Experience is an asset
