Child Caregiver (Nanny) Job

Rawal family is looking for a Child Caregiver (Nanny) to take care of our child at our residence. The Child Caregiver will be responsible for caring for a child aged about 5 years. Please refer to the details below about this job:

The child caregiver (nanny) shall perform the following job duties:

- Assume responsibility of household in the absence of child’s parents
- Supervise and care for the child in our home (residence)
- Prepare meals for the child & change child’s clothing as and when required
- Supervise child’s meals, outdoor and indoor activities and rest periods as instructed
- Support the child with in-home activities and with basic learning
- Ensure that safe and healthy environment is maintained for the child at home
- Administer any prescribed medicines for the child from time to time, if required
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for the child
- Supervise and care for the child and take him for recreation, if the time & situation allows
- Tidy up the play area and the toys
- Tend to emotional well-being of the child and support with her social development
- Discipline child in accordance with the methods requested by the parents, if required
- Instruct the child about personal hygiene
- Keep track of the child’s daily activities and health information
- Take child to and from school and for any scheduled appointments, if required

Wage: $18.50 hourly
Job Type: full-time (at-least 30 hours per week)

Language: English
Experience: No particular experience required, previous experience as a nanny or child caregiver will be preferred
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is preferred
