Roles and Responsibilities:
• Supervise and provide care for the client
• Take responsibility of the household in the parents’ absence
• Prepare and serve meals according to parental instructions
• Take the client to and from school and appointments
• Provide a caring and safe environment
• Tend to emotional well-being of client and support social development
• Provide age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
• Discipline the client according to the methods requested by the parents
• Maintain records of client’s daily activities and health information if requested

Requirements:
• 1 to 7 months of experience
• Completion of secondary school
• Must be reliable and able to care for children with kindness and patience
• Demonstrate good judgement and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Work Conditions:
• Physically demanding
• Repetitive tasks
