Position: Childcare manager
Hourly Wage: $45.50
Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the childcare centre to ensure quality childcare services.
Develop and implement childcare policies and procedures to maintain a safe and supportive environment for children.
Supervise childcare staff, assign duties, prepare work schedules, and monitor staff performance.
Plan and oversee age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Ensure the centre complies with applicable childcare licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and supervision guidelines.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Maintain children’s records, staff documents, attendance records, and other administrative files.
Communicate with parents and guardians regarding children’s development, program activities, and any concerns.
Monitor the centre’s budget and arrange for the purchase of childcare supplies, equipment, and educational materials.
Review childcare programs and daily operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure the well-being of children.
Work as an educator in the classroom when needed, supervise children, lead learning activities, and support their daily care and development.
