Job Description:
1. Leading the development and implementation of technology solutions that ensure accurate and efficient handling of complex billing and insurance claims.
2. Develop and manage Generative AI projects with Large Language Models (LLMs), supporting advanced AI capabilities to enhance our technological offerings.
3. Oversee the engineering team, managing technological research and development (R&D) to keep abreast of the latest in fintech and healthtech innovations, ensuring the team is equipped with cutting edge expertise and tools.
4. Align technology strategies with the business goals with a focus on enhancing data security and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This includes creating robust security protocols to protect sensitive patient information, conducting regular audits to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, and staying current with evolving healthcare laws and regulations.
5. Work closely with other executives to ensure that technological advancements support the company's overall objectives and drive business growth, while also ensuring that all technology solutions adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Play a pivotal role in making high-level decisions related to technology vendors and partnerships. This includes evaluating potential vendors, negotiating contracts, and selecting the right technological partners to support the strategic direction of the company.
7. Continuously develop and refine the company's technical infrastructure to ensure scalability and foster innovation in healthcare billing.

Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science.
2. Currently holding a valid certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
3. Must have a minimum of 6 years of full-time experience in software engineering, with a focus on developing cloud-based business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service applications specifically for the insurance industry. At least 2 of these years must include experience in a C-level engineering role at a fast-growing startup, where responsibilities included both people management and leading digital transformation initiatives.
4. Must have knowledge in building and maintaining PCI and SOC 2 compliant systems. Have expertise in creating and managing client-facing applications that have passed SOC 2 Type I and SOC 2 Type II audits, covering all five of trust principles, for at least two consecutive years.
