Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Objectives and Development Strategies
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement organizational strategies, long-term goals, and growth plans.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to meet the company's objectives in alignment with educational policies and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian educational regulations, accreditation standards, and provincial/territorial guidelines.
Operational Management
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of training programs, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
• Develop, implement, and refine operational processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of training services.
• Supervise middle managers, trainers, and administrative staff to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Marketing and Business Development
• Monitor and oversee the marketing manager to execute marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, traditional advertising, and events to promote the company educational programs and training services.
• Build and strengthen the organization's brand identity to establish credibility and attract more customers.
• Identify new market opportunities and create targeted marketing plans to expand the company’s reach into different regions, industries, or demographics.
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics (e.g., ROI, lead generation, conversion rates) and optimize campaigns to achieve measurable results.
• Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build partnerships and generate new business opportunities.
Human Resource Management
• Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of instructors, administrative staff, and leadership positions to ensure top-tier talent is in place.
• Monitor employee performance, implement performance management systems, and create plans for professional development and career growth.
• Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and promote engagement and job satisfaction.
• Design and oversee compensation, benefits, and incentive structures to attract and retain top talent in the education sector.
Financial Oversight
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with finance teams to track revenue, control costs, and ensure financial sustainability.

Team Leadership
• Build partnerships with educational institutions, corporate organizations, and government agencies.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with stakeholders.
• Supervise middle manager, including academic, marketing, operations, and customer service teams.
Growth and Development
• Stay updated on industry trends, lead the development and launch of new training programs, certifications, or blended learning solutions.
• Drive business expansion by identifying and exploring opportunities in new markets or educational niches.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Position
Salary: $61.60 per hour for 30 hours a week, 52 weeks a year
Work hours: day, night and weekend. Night or weekend shift maybe required based on the operational needs of the company

Minimum Skills Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Work Experience:
More than one month of work experience as a Chief Operating Officer in the education industry
- More than two years of management work experience in the Canadian education industry,
- More than four years of experience in organizing and holding sales campaigns and representing the company in sales campaigns and business negotiations
- More than four years of experience in developing the education business
- More than five years of experience in managing and overseeing sales teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to supervise about 16-20 staff in various area of responsibility
• Knowledge of Software, such as LMS (Learning Management System), ERP (Enterprises Resource Planning), Dingding Talk, Chuangketie, Google Sheet, Google Doc, MikeCRM, WeChat Zoom, Teambition, Classin, Feishu.
• Extensive knowledge of student policies across all Canadian universities and colleges, including academic regulations, graduation requirements, policies for exchange students, and general university management guidelines.
• Excellent speaking and written communication skills in English
• Willing to travel internationally and to travel extended periods.
