Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and highly analytical Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead our corporate treasury strategies and investment frameworks. As the CIO, you will be responsible for overseeing the asset allocation strategy, managing institutional financial partnerships, evaluating Web3 ecosystem opportunities, and ensuring optimal risk management for our corporate balance sheet. This leadership role reports directly to the executive team and requires a deep understanding of traditional macroeconomic landscapes and decentralized financial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Asset Allocation: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive investment policies, capital preservation strategies, and treasury allocation frameworks.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor global market trends, economic shifts, and digital asset cycles to optimize corporate asset structures while balancing yield and risk.
• Risk Mitigation: Establish rigorous risk management systems and compliance parameters to protect corporate capital from volatility and liquidity issues.
• Financial Partnerships: Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with institutional banking partners, asset managers, and financial custodians.
• Research and Analysis: Direct quantitative and qualitative financial research on macroeconomic factors, Web3 market protocols, and financial market structures.
• Executive Advisory: Present quarterly performance updates, economic outlook forecasts, and strategic financial initiatives to the Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. An MBA, CFA charter, or advanced financial certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of proven leadership experience in institutional asset management, hedge funds, corporate treasury, or a premier investment banking firm.
• Domain Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of traditional capital markets, fixed-income instruments, risk modeling, and liquidity management.
• Web3 Literacy: Comprehensive theoretical and practical understanding of blockchain infrastructure, digital assets, and decentralized financial products.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead corporate financial strategy, collaborate with executive boards, and manage complex regulatory frameworks.
• Analytical Excellence: Exceptional quantitative modeling capabilities, statistical competency, and advanced data-driven decision-making skills.
