Chief Financial Officer Job

Responsibilities

The Chief Financial Officer will have the overall responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance and accounting activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance as well as negotiations.
The Chief Financial Officer will oversee and manage the finances of the company, including accounting, data, operational information, and market trends.
Tasks will vary from overseeing accounting, finance, administration, human resources, auditing, payroll.
Additional oversight will include, banking, acquisitions, and predictions about the future financial health of the company.
The Chief Financial Officer will provide informed advice to the company executives on how to increase profits and reduce financial risk.
Additional responsibilities will include: Financial Strategy & Planning, Financial Management & Reporting, Cash Flow & Working Capital Management, Cost Control & Profitability, Business Growth & Expansion Strategy, Risk Management & Compliance, Technology & Systems Oversight, Leadership & Team Management.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree is required. An MBA is highly desired. A CPA is a plus.
10+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources and Administration.
5+ years Managing and leading subordinate staff members.
Experience overseeing Accounting, Finance and Administration in small business environment; Industrial or Professional Service industries are ideal.
Construction, Trades, Landscape or Contracting industry experience is a plus.
Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise.
Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask.
