Job Duties:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) would be responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategy of the organization. The role involves managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the company's overall growth and efficiency.
The main duties are:
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
• Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
• Provide financial forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to guide decision-making.
• Analyze financial risks and opportunities, offering recommendations to improve profitability.
• Create and oversee annual budgets and monitor adherence across departments.
• Co-ordinate the work of different departments
• Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
• Identify cost-saving measures, particularly in production and operations.
• Manage pricing strategies for wood products to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
• Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
• Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow analyses, and balance sheets.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights into improving efficiency and output.
• Negotiate loans, credit lines, and supplier agreements as necessary.
Salary: $50/hour (Minimum 32 hrs/week).
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Minimum Experience: Minimum two years of relevant work experience in similar role is required.
