Job Description:
A Chemical Engineer is needed in Chamblee, Georgia.
• Develop experiments to test material resistance to weathering, corrosion, and other chemical effects on granite.
• Assess the quality of materials upon receipt by conducting chemical reactions using light, energy, and heat.
• Inspect chemical products and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Analyze, optimize, and enhance chemical manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and output.
• Evaluate and ensure facility equipment meets operational requirements and assists in maximizing production efficiency.
• Conduct research and testing on material compounds to enhance production quality and ease of manufacturing.
• Interpret and enforce compliance with federal and state regulations concerning VOCs and hazardous waste management.
• Design and conduct training programs for engineers and technicians on the proper usage, maintenance, and safety protocols for chemical products and equipment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Polymer Sciences.
