• Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook traditional Japanese complete meals and individual dishes in accordance with the
menu
- Create and develop new recipes and menu items consistent with the restaurant's cuisine and
quality standards
- Prepare meals for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions in compliance with food
safety procedures
- Inspect raw ingredients and finished dishes to ensure freshness and quality
- Store food and ingredients at proper temperatures and conditions in accordance with food safety
regulations
- Plan menus, determine appropriate portion sizes, and estimate food requirements
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff and coordinate kitchen activities as required
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas

• Cuisine Specialty: Japanese cuisine

• Education: Completion of Secondary High School

• Language: English

• Experience: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
