Positions Available: 3
Primary Responsibilities:
• Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
• Plan menus and develop recipes, including authentic South Indian vegetarian dishes
• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods for regular service, catering, and special events
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff and instruct them in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Ensure that food quality, presentation, and portion sizes meet established standards
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and quality service
