Job Duties:
-Plan and administer accounting processes and prepare financial information for individuals, departments, and businesses.
-Examine accounting records and supporting documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
-Prepare financial statements, schedules, and related reports from accounting records.
-Develop and maintain reporting and internal control procedures to support accurate financial reporting and improve process efficiency.
-Review account balances and identify necessary adjustments to ensure reliable year-end financial information.
-Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns based on accounting records and financial information.
-Analyze financial statements and reports and provide accounting, financial, and tax-related advice.
-Respond to client or internal inquiries regarding accounting treatment, financial reporting matters, and tax implications.

Job Requirements:
-Completion of a university degree in accounting or a related field is required.
-Enrollment in a professional training program approved by the applicable provincial Institute of Chartered Accountants is required.
