Dr. Sang Min Shin Dental Corporation doing business as Well Dental has an immediate opening for a full-time and permanent chair-side assistant - dental. Job duties for this position will include:

• Schedule appointments
• Keep records of patients’ dental work
• Prepare patients for dental exams and help the dentist during the examination
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
• Teach patients about oral hygiene
• Invoice patients
Order dental and office supplies

Position available: 3

The Benefits will be:

• 4% of gross salary as the vacation pay

The salary to be paid to the successful candidate will be $26.00 - $30.00 per hour plus overtime at the applicable rates set pursuant to the BC Employment Standards Act.

The successful candidate will:

• Dental assistants require completion of an eight-month to one-year college or other program in dental assistance or completion of secondary school with on-the-job training.
• Experience of 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar field is required.

This is a full-time permanent position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work 6-8 hours per day, 5 days a week Monday through Saturday during Well Dental’s normal business hours.
