Job Description:
We’re hiring a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor to deliver individual and group counseling services for DWI and substance abuse clients. You’ll play a key role in client recovery and compliance while being part of a growing, purpose-driven team.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate substance abuse assessments, treatment planning, and discharge summaries.
Provide individual and group counseling, with a focus on DWI education and relapse prevention.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state guidelines.
Coordinate care with legal systems, case managers, or referral sources.
Support a safe, respectful, and client-centered environment.
PAY IS NEGOTIABLE, BASED ON EXPERIENCE, AVAILABILITY, AND CREDENTIAL LEVEL

Qualifications:
Active CADC certification (North Carolina – required)
Experience with DWI, outpatient treatment, or early intervention preferred.
Strong ethical standards and a commitment to client confidentiality.
Organized, self-directed, and able to manage a small caseload independently.
(Preferred) Knowledge of ASAM criteria and state DWI service requirements.
