Emergency Roadside Assistance Driver (Experienced with Semi-Trucks & Trailers)

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Usually a Class A or B CDL depending on vehicle size and towing capacity.

Must have a clean driving record (no major violations or DUIs).

Prior experience in towing, roadside assistance, or truck driving (often 1–3 years preferred).

Familiarity with different vehicle types (cars, light trucks, heavy-duty trucks, etc.).

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift heavy tools/equipment (e.g., tire irons, jacks, chains).

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and at irregular hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

Availability
Must be available for emergency call-outs and on-call shifts.

Ability to respond quickly to dispatch requests.

Key Responsibilities
● Respond promptly to roadside service calls — including breakdowns, flat tires, jump starts,
lockouts, fuel delivery, and towing.
● Operate service trucks and towing equipment safely, following DOT and company safety
regulations.
● Work confidently with heavy-duty and commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks, trailers, and
fleet units.
● Troubleshoot and perform minor roadside repairs when possible.
● Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
● Maintain accurate service records, reports, and equipment documentation.
● Ensure all vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and ready for service.
