is in need of Cattle Herdsperson
NOC Code: 84120
Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Monitor cattle health, behavior, and condition.
2. Prepare feed rations and manage feeding using a computerized system.
3. Identify health issues and administer appropriate medications and dosages.
4. Handle and move cattle safely.
5. Maintain barns, pens, and equipment.
6. Operate and maintain farm machinery.
7. Maintain accurate production and health records.
8. Perform other related tasks as necessary
Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school education is required
2. Work Experience: At least 6 months experience handling cattle is required.
Working Hours: 8-10 hours/day, 40-50 hours/week; working hours may change depending on operational requirement; 10 days on/4 days off schedule
Wage/Benefits: $19.42/hour / Extended Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Disability Insurance, Pension Plan; benefits will be available after 3 months of continuous employment
