is in need of Cattle Farm Labourer
NOC: 85100
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time - Permanent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Feed, water, and care for beef cattle according to established feeding programs and schedules.
2. Monitor cattle health and behavior, report illness or injury, and assist with basic animal health tasks under supervision.
3. Assist with calving, branding, tagging, sorting, vaccinating, loading, and transporting cattle.
4. Move and manage cattle safely between pens, corrals, pasture, and handling facilities.
5. Clean, disinfect, and maintain barns, corrals, pens, water systems, and livestock handling equipment.
6. Follow all farm safety procedures, biosecurity protocols, and animal welfare standards.
7. Perform other general farm labour duties as assigned.
WORKING HOURS: 8-10 hours/day, 40-60 hours/week; workday shall begin 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; working hours varies depending on operational requirement; 1 varied day off per week
WAGE: $20.00/hour
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: There are no specific education requirements.
2. Work Experience: Basic farm knowledge is required; Previous experience is an asset.
