We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at Mr. Calzone. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and able to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers as they enter the store.
• Establish or identify prices of goods, services, or admission and tabulate total payment required using electronic cash registers or scanners.
• Receive and process payments by cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit.
• Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.
• Provide information to customers regarding products, services, and promotions.
• Calculate total payments received at the end of the work shift and reconcile with total sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Monitor and restock inventory at the cashier station.
• Balance cash registers and the beginning and end of shifts.
