Cashier Job

Job Duties
• Welcome clients
• Determine the cost of the goods, services, or entrance and use an electronic cash register
• Register another cash register, an optical price scanner, or other equipment to calculate the total amount that must be paid
• Weigh bulk items and produce
• Accept and handle payments made with a credit card, debit card, cash, or check.
• Pack items or put them in bags
• Provide clients with information
• Compute the foreign exchange rate
• At the conclusion of the work shift, tally the payments you received and compare it to the total sales
• When selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or cigarette goods, make sure the customers are of legal age
• Possibly replenish shelves and tidy the area around the checkout station

Benefits
• Overtime Pay (1.5 times of hourly wage after 40 hours of working in a week and or after 8 hours in a given day).
•Vacation pay: as per Saskatchewan Standards (3 weeks or 5.77% of vacation pay)
