Carpet installer Job

Diamond Carpet Centre Ltd. is looking for one Carpet Installer for their business located at 7750 128 Street suite 103 Surrey, British Columbia V3W 4E6. This position is full time with 8 hours shift per day, 40 hours per week.

As a Carpet Installer, you would be performing the following job duties:

-Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered by carpet.
-Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and under padding of carpet.
-Measure, cut and install carpeting using hand or machine stitched, seaming iron, bonding tape or other bonding materials.
-Stretch carpeting using knee-kicker or power stretcher and secure carpeting to floor or other surfaces using staple gun or other devices.
-Measure, cut and install resilient floor covering using adhesive, rollers and other hand tools.
-Install hardwood floors, such as strip floors, block floors or plank floors, using glue, staples, nails or other means.
-Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings

Requirement:
-Completion of high school is required
-2-3 years of experience required
-English as a Language is required


What we offer:
-$29.00 per hour
-4% vacation pay
-Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position.
