Carpenters Job

Job Duties include
• Use measuring tools to prepare layouts that follow building codes and plans
• Read blueprints and drawings to figure out materials and job details
• Cut, shape, and join wood, wood substitutes and other materials
• Build foundations, floors, walls, and roofs
• Build wooden structures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Install doors, stairs, mouldings, trims, and hardware

Employment Requirements:
• The positions require a minimum of 1-2 years experience related to the trade.
• Minimum high school education and good communication skills in English language are required
• Ideal candidates should be punctual, have sound judgement, be client focused, flexible, team player and reliable.
• The incumbents should be capable of handling heavy loads and meet tight deadlines.
• The incumbents should be available to work in morning and daytime.
• The position is physically demanding and requires bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking for extended periods. The candidates may be required to work at heights, confined spaces, noisy and dusty spaces.
• The incumbents should have their own hard Hat and Steel-toed safety boots

Terms of Employment:
The candidates are expected to be available for work for morning and daytime. These are 2 full time (30-40 hours per week) and permanent positions with a salary of $36.60/Hour.
