Carpenter Job

Param Landscaping & Fencing Ltd. located at 7119 Clarendon Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V5S 2K5, urgently requires two permanent & full time Carpenter. We welcome and encourage youth, new immigrants, and aboriginal people to apply.

Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential & commercial establishments.
• Build foundations and beams, lay subflooring, erect, walls, operate power tools etc.
• Supervise other workers.

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: Minimum two years of experience in the relevant field is required.
No. of positions: 2
Wage: $30.50 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% vacation pay.
