Position: Carpenter
Wage: CAD$ 39.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30~40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and requirements;
• Measure and prepare layouts in conformance with building codes;
• Measure, calculate and prepare the quantities of materials required for projects;
• Cut, shape, smooth, assemble and join wood and other materials according to specifications;
• Build, install and repair structures and fixtures, including cabinets, closets, doors, windows, stairs, mouldings and hardwood floors;
• Maintain, repair and renovate residential and commercial buildings and wooden structures;
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers, as required.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a three-to four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over 4 years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in carpentry is required.
