Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints to follow the specifications of projects.
Measure, drill, and saw materials to perform successful home improvements.
Check measurements and complete accurate cuts to prevent material waste and maintain cost controls.
Cut, shape, smooth lumber and other material according to measurements.
Plan and execute work with proper tools and materials to maximize productivity.
Specialize in customer-specific customizations.
Accurately measure, cut, and shape lumber, wood, and other building materials.
Collaborate with other construction workers to coordinate projects and streamline the process.
Inspect job sites to identify potential hazards, establish protection and safety standards, and maintain clean work areas.
Conduct repairs to existing structures that are unsound or damaged.
Make alterations to the finished work based on clients' feedback.
Assist the construction workers in the erection of a variety of concrete structures by constructing wooden concrete forms.
Attach building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts.
Perform joinery work that includes installing joints and studs, installing flashing, and securing structural supports.
