Job Description:
High Hill Construction Corp is looking for one Carpenter for their business located at 15177 60 Ave Suite 14, Surrey, British Columbia, V3S 7B3. This is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.
As a Carpenter, you will be performing the following job duties:
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine work requirements.
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood and other construction materials.
-Prepare layouts according to building codes, project plans, and safety standards.
-Construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden frames, walls, roofs, stairs, doors, and trim.
-Build and install cupboards, drawers, shelves, and other wooden fixtures as required.
-Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately.
-Repair and renovate wooden structures in residential and commercial projects.
-Maintain a safe and clean work area and perform other related carpentry duties as assigned.
-Install studs, beams, joists, rafters, trusses, and sheathing as per the project drawings.
-Check and adjust framing work to make sure it matches the building plans before the next stage of construction.

Job Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school is required.
-2-3 years of experience required.
-English as a Language skill is required.
-Trade certification for carpenters is not mandatory but will be an asset.
What we offer:
-$37.00 per hour.
-4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
-Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position.
-Location of Work – Various locations across British Columbia.
