Carpenter Job

Fortune Drywall is looking for one carpenter for their business located at 6971 144 street, Surrey, British Columbia, V3W 5R8. This is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing the following job duties:

-Review blueprints and project plans to determine drywall requirements and materials.
-Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings with precision.
-Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall to create smooth, ready-to-paint surfaces.
-Repair and maintain existing drywall, including patching holes and cracks.
-Prepare surfaces for installation, ensuring proper framing, leveling, and cleanliness.
-Assist with the layout of partitions, bulkheads, and ceilings according to client specifications.
-Operate tools safely and efficiently while following all company safety protocols.
-Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet client expectations.
-Maintain a clean and organized worksite and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

-Completion of secondary school is required.
-2-3 years of experience is required.
-English as a language is required.
-Trade certification for carpenters is not mandatory but will be an asset.

What we offer:

-$37.00 per hour.
-4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
-Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position.
