Job Location: All over lower mainland with base at 10640 144 Street Surrey BC V3T 4V9
Company will pay moving expenses if applicant is from other provinces and not living in lower mainland area.However, some conditions will apply
Job Responsibilities
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
· Ability to measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
· Finish surface of woodwork in houses and building, using hand tools and paneling.
· Operate power as well as hand tools.
· Work on new projects, remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
· Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
· Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
· Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
· Direct other construction workers.
Job Requirements
· Completion of high School
· 2-3 years of work experience in the trade is required
· Trade certification would be an asset but not mandatory
· Ability to communicate in English
· Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
