Job Description:
Amex Doors & Mouldings Ltd. is looking for a Carpenter for their business located at 105-13112 84 Ave, Surrey, BC V3W 1L2. This is a full time job for 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.
As a Carpenter, you will be performing the following job duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications of products being manufactured and installed.
- Prepare layouts according to building codes using measurement instruments.
- Trimming of sheets and moldings to match irregular surfaces.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood such as wooden doors and moulding.
- Work efficiently while adhering to all safety standards.
- Use measuring tools to ensure precise cutting and shaping.
- Build wooden structures according to customer specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients when scheduling appointments and installing wooden doors and mouldings.

What we offer:
- $37.00 per hour
- 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
- Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position
- Trade certification for carpenters will be an asset
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- 3-5 years of experience is required
- English as a language skill is required
